I already posted how some relatives and I got our names in the other thread, but my dad's mn, Jonathan (not sure about the reasoning behind his fn, Thomas, so I'm skipping it) was chosen because it meant "gift of God". Pretty ironic, seeing that my dad has told me his mom didn't want a fourth child! lol

My maternal grandma named my mom's brother Paul because in her mind, St. Paul was "the greatest saint of all". Let's just say Uncle Paul didn't exactly live up to his name...(he used to be an alchie and had to go to rehab like three times lol)
