I prefer Cecily, mostly because I'm not a really big fan of frills on girls' names.
I don't know if it's too Catholic-- the only Catholics I know have Spanish names. I guess some people think Chad is a Catholic name, but it sounds more like some surfer guy to me...
I think Cecily as a nickname for Cecilia works.
Cece, Sil, Silke, Zilla... those all come from Cecilia, but I think they can work for Cecily, too.
