For the longest, I could never figure out how to say it and I thought it looked ugly. And, for some reason, reminds me of the word "urine." :-/
I heard it pronounced yoo-NEES once and I don't mind that. I think that's pretty nice. But it's the YOO-niss pronunciation that just strikes me as all wrong.
