Re: Names on my mind recently
Jemima / Jemimah - I prefer Jemima. I love it, but I know it's problematic in America because of the Aunt Jemima stereotype.Keziah - it's OK, but a bit too close to the Swedish word for cottage cheese (keso).Sepphora - part of me like it, but the four last letters spells the Swedish word for w***e and the first letters looks like a word that means something like "spaz", so no, sorry.Hepzibah - sorry, but I can't stand it. Sounds like a sneeze.Talitha - interesting, but not really my style.Saffron - I like it a lot.Posy / Posie - sounds silly.

Yasmin - I used to hate this name, but now I know a Yasmine who is so sweet that I can't dislike the name.Lula - more of a nickname.Zadie - nms.Zuri - nah. Gigi - childish.Matisse - it's kind of cute.Amari - nah, sounds like a clothes brand.Elior - too fantasy-esque for my taste. And also makes me think of Eeyore.Eliezer - too religious.Ephraim - ditto.Gideon - giddy up.Jed - sorry, but yuck.Does the sea exist
Because of our longing?
