I like a lot of the names from The Silmarillion, but this one always sounded really awkward IMO. It sounds like the name of an airline. For some reason, it also makes me think of penguins.

Although that's definitely not the worst name in Middle-earth. The worst is probably Gróin, the name of Oin and Glóin's father. I do realize it's probably pronounced with two syllables, but still...
