Which variation of Kathleen for middle name?
If I ever have a daughter I would like to honour my late mom Kathleen, but I'm not exactly crazy about the name. If I don't use Kathleen itself I might consider one of the following variations. Right now one of my favourite names for a girl is Sienna. My last name is McG_____ (3 syllables).
Sienna KateSienna Catalina (my husband and his family are Spanish speakers so I kind of like this, but does it sound too over the top with Sienna?)Sienna KathiaSienna Katalin / KattalinSienna Cataline
Too much of a stretch? :Sienna KaiaSienna KaySienna Leena / Lena
Any other suggestions? Also, do you still consider it honouring if you use a variation of a name?

It seems from your other thoughts that it's the 'thl' sound in the middle you don't like, so what about going to the origin of your mom's name 'Caitlín'?

Wow, those are all really pretty. I would probably stick with Sienna Kathleen, but I also really like Sienna Katalin.

I like Sienna Catalina. It flows very well.On a side note, my 'headcanon' for your last name is now McGonagall:)

It is perfect !!!!It honours both your husband heritage and your late nom's name. After that it is the nost elegant and complete of your list.I would go by this one!

Thanks! I love Catalina; I guess it just bothers me slightly that both names end in -na, and that there are so many syllables. Those reasons don't bother me enough to not use it, though. I'm glad to hear that someone thinks it's an elegant combo! :)
