HelpWhich variation of Kathleen for middle name?
If I ever have a daughter I would like to honour my late mom Kathleen, but I'm not exactly crazy about the name. If I don't use Kathleen itself I might consider one of the following variations. Right now one of my favourite names for a girl is Sienna. My last name is McG_____ (3 syllables).
Sienna Kate
Sienna Catalina (my husband and his family are Spanish speakers so I kind of like this, but does it sound too over the top with Sienna?)
Sienna Kathia
Sienna Katalin / Kattalin
Sienna Cataline
Too much of a stretch? :

It seems from your other thoughts that it's the 'thl' sound in the middle you don't like, so what about going to the origin of your mom's name 'Caitlín'?

Thanks! I love Catalina; I guess it just bothers me slightly that both names end in -na, and that there are so many syllables. Those reasons don't bother me enough to not use it, though. I'm glad to hear that someone thinks it's an elegant combo! :)
