Some explanation:
This is really hard... Rowan has been topping my list lately, but I like it better for a boy. I just feel more strongly about boys names in general. But Nora is one of those names that's been on my list forever, and has been slowly inching toward the top lately. So my all-time favorite girls name is probably Nora... but if you asked what my favorite right now was, I've been loving Romilly and Clio lately, so it might be one of those. I feel like it's also worth noting that Gaia was my #1 for a loooong time, but it's been giving me hesitation for some reason lately. But then again, Nora gives me pause too (popularity, boring/plainness, the fact that it's a nn, etc.)... even as I'm writing this, I'm having doubts that it's actually my favorite. So I guess if I had to name a baby girl right now, I really don't know what I'd do.
