Kaia is cute and spunky, though nmsaa. I associate Kaya with the Native American American Girl character. (What a horrendous sentence.) Kaia on the other hand gives me a Baltic/Eastern European feel when seen. But since it sounds the same, hearing it would give the same impression as Kaya.
