Could Ellis possibly be an alternative for Elizabeth? Winifred Rowena Ellis certainly sounds no-nonsense and yet sophisticated.
Also, if honouring is important to you, you could also use the name of one of the great-grandparents of you and your husband. Ask your parents for the names of their grandparents and see if there is a name among them that you like?
