Ah ... I've jsut suggested Liam as a Jack equivalent.
I have to say that if you are having so much trouble or feeling so insecure about character names, this could be a sign that your future story isn't engaging you as it should.

Well, Liam would be fine. But remember, it's your job as an author to make us believe he IS shy.
Having said that, better not to use abrupt-sounding names such as Blaze, or Kurt or say, Ranger.
