I know several people who call their grandmothers Mimi. Also know of someone's great-aunt Marie who is called Mimi by most of her family, and a girl named, I think, Ameeyah (that's how it's pronounced, anyway) who is called Mimi.I would never call a daughter that. It sounds like baby talk. I guess I'd pick Maria for the full name, but again, I would not use Mimi, or any nn, for something as pretty as Maria.Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
