A little irony...
In addition, these symbols which we use for figuring are called "Arabic numerals".-- Nanaea

Okay Nan, I admit that one can find "symbolism" anywhere if they're looking for it. I just thought it was uncanny about the consecutive numbers 11, 12, 13, & 14. Does anyone know if these numbers are significant concerning Arab-American relations, maybe anniversaries of military actions or something.

There was an article in the paper today about some of the urban legends that are being spawned after the disasters. Some people believe that 11 has special significance - the attacks occurred on Sept 11 on the 254th day of the year (2+5+4=11), Flight 11 was the first plane to crash, and the two towers of the WTC resembled an 11.Other legends include reports of a giant face of Satan in the billowing smoke and a police officer who surfed a piece of debris down one of towers as it collapsed and survived. The article also talked about Nostradamus, and how some of the recently-cited quatrains don't even exist in his writings.

I think that "Colorado's Online News Leader"......has much in common with *The National Enquirer*.And the person or persons who doctored that tasteless, fake photograph are going to be seeing more of Satan than they anticipated.-- Nanaea

Donkey Shoen, Nan :)(P.S. according to Pavlovian etiquette, the proper response to "donkey shoen" is "beatme shoen")

"Beatme Shoen"? Nah....I kinda prefer "Beat Me Daddy, Eight to the Bar" -- with Vic Schoen and the Andrews Sisters. :)Heheh... Old stuff like that was Anton LaVey's concept of what really comprises "Satanic music".In an interview which Anton gave for *Rolling Stone* back in 1991, Anton was quoted as saying that "Satanic music is not heavy-metal rock & roll... the music of supposed satanic groups such as AC/DC and Slayer is not really occult because millions of people hear their songs on record and in concerts. What is really occult is what no one ever listens to anymore, songs that were popular but now are long forgotten, such as 'Telstar' and 'Yes, We Have No Bananas'."-- Nanaea

During my misspent youth I used to play my 45 single of Elvis' "Teddy Bear" at 33 RMP. The lyrics' true sadomasochism and vileness becomes fully unleashed :)
