Could you pls tell me the meaning and origin of my first name "Jasna". I think it may be Croatian - not sure whether it is an old name or a trend at the time. I am female.

Hi Jasna,
If you are Croatian, I am almost sure your name comes from the Slavic "jasn", meaning "clear". How do you pronounce your name btw, Iasna or Dzasna? If it is Iasna, it does come from Slavic (if it's Dzasna it is just an americanized pronunciation of Iasna :o)

I have only met a Jasna in my life...she was Chilean (Spanish)...
