"Talina" ...?
Hello,
A couple of years back I met a girl whose name was "Talina", her last name was "Garcia". I am pretty sure that her father was mexican and her mother american (she migrated to Australia) but was born in the US. I really liked her name but was unable to find out more information about it from her directly. Anybody know what it means/where it originated from??Cheers!

From what I've been able to find on the name, "Talina" appears to be a diminutive of Catalina -- a Spanish form of Katherine.-- Nanaea

Thanks Nanaea. Your definition makes a lot of sense now, Talina=Catalina! :-D
