or anyone else who might know.
Pauliina, your mentioning that you live in Friedberg reminded me of a Finnish acquaintance (female) I had when I lived there (Friedberg) briefly in the very late 1960s. She was working as an au pair (nanny)at the time, and later married another acquaintance (American) and moved to the US.
Her name was Raili, pronounced "ray-lee" (not sure if it was her formal name or nickname), but I can't find it in any of the Finnish name listings. Any idea what it means?
