"Cara" is the feminine form of "caro", which means "prescious; dear" in Italian. Carchietta would be "little dear one; little prescious one".

Hmm. I don't think so. The affectional form of Cara would rather be Caruccia or Carina in italian.Otherwise I don't know for Carchietta, except that it's italian. It sounds familiar to me but I don't know the meaning.
