I was looking for the meaning of my name I didn't find my name listed, I have been looking for the meaning and also if you can tell me if my name comes from Bulgaria or Russia.Yordanka.

I couldn't find Yordanka, but I did find Yordan(the male version). It said that is is Bulgarian. I'm guessing that Yordanka probably is too.try this page:

I agree . . .Yordan is an obvious transliteration of Jordan, and 'ka' name endings are a common Eastern European diminutive (see Annuska and Alenka, for example). Jordan (Yordan) and Jordanka (Yordanka) are Bulgarian names, male and female.If a baby was born on Epiphany (January 6th), it was very probable to be given one of those names. They originate from the name of the river where that event occurred 2 millennia ago.
