I've had this suspicion for a long time, regarding people who post here saying: "I named my child Xyzlemoeph but I haven't been able to find a meaning for it anywhere and I don't remember where I got the name from, either."
See, there *is* no "Xyzlemoeph". Anybody interested enough in names and naming to have sought out a message board devoted to that subject, doesn't just pick a name out of a hat for his/her child. The person who has done this posting is most likely someone who just dreamed up that name, and has nothing better to do than come here and post it to see if any of us can match a plausible meaning to the name.
Same goes for the person who posts: "I just named my baby girl (whom I had only two weeks ago) Duliegh! What do you all think of that name?" Notice, no background information is offered regarding what the poster believes the name might mean, or where the name came from.
Once again, we're most likely dealing with a 14-year-old who has simply made up a name and wants to see if anyone here can match up a plausible meaning to the name, thus lending credibility to her adolescent daydreams of being a mommy.
Usually you can spot the 14-year-olds, because they're the ones fantasizing about having twins. Fantasies of multiple births go hand-in-hand with adolescent girls.
My patience with such imbecility is running short, and Satan is about to be unleashed.
