O.K gang the Athens Stock Exchange INdex is around -6% today and my colleagues are beginning to jump out of their windows. Need to escape from this excrementia, so here goes:
What cartoon/comic character do the BtN regulars remind you of?
Lemme start off with with a few obvious ones:
Daividh : Krusty the Klown
Selwyn : Tintin (my childhood hero when I was still innocent)
Sarahjeanne : Tinkerbel
Nanaea : Magica De Spell

I see Nan as Buttercup, the ass-kickin' component of the Powerpuff Girls. Hair's a match, too.
Pavlos ? I don't have a clue. He's one of a kind.
Selwyn is Dondi grown up a bit, still good-hearted and unspoiled.
Somebody said Andrea is Cathy ? Gawd, I hope not. Besides, my sister-in-law is Cathy , completely.
As for me, Krusty the Klown might work; the hair and attitude's about right, altho green's not the usual color. I've also been likened to the Pointy-Haired Boss in Dilbert and to Walt Duncan , Jeremy 's father in Zits. The latter comes from my wife, so it may be on the mark.

****** Just a couple weeks ago, three of the Haggisbutt Psychicks (Zelda, Andrea, and myself) were discussing in e-mail which of the Powerpuff girls we might be. It was decided that Zelda was Blossom, Andrea was Bubbles, and I was Buttercup.

...I don't know how much I physically resemble Daria...I do wear glasses most of the time and I have dark hair but that's about it. A few years back I used to get a lot of chagrined parents apologizing to me when their kids would point and say, "Mommy look! Its Pocohantas!"

I've never even seen Daria...
Although I'm told that my dark hair and habit of staring blankly into space makes me look like her. Never been told I look like Pocahontas , though :) Just Daria , and oddly enough, Katie Holmes (because of my denim hat).

Well...
...I don't look like Pocahontas (or Disney's large-breasted, long legged, wasp waisted version of her) either. But I am an Asian/Caucasian mix and I had long dark hair and I lived in a predominantly Caucasian area of the US so the kids went nuts when they saw me.

I get the "Daria " thing all the time, too, and it kind of baffles me. I also have longish dark hair and glasses, but to me, the resemblance ends there--I'm mostly Mexican-American, mixed with a small amount of Caucasian, and I don't look like her at all. I think in my case it may be more of a reference to disposition;). But that's fine...Daria's a cool chick. Consider it a compliment!

I did once (many moons ago) say I thought you, Davidh, and I were kinda like The Three Caballeros -- with Daividh being Donald Duck (the cranky American fowl), you being Joe Carioca (the cigar-smokin' Brazilian parrot, coz you like your cigars, Pav), and me being Panchito (the crazyass, trigger-happy Mexican chicken).
