Subject: copyright a name? John(c)

Is it possible to copyright your name if you are 100% sure that no one else in the entire world has or has ever had that name.

Could that be legally possible?

On the otherhand why would anyone do that? If the first John had done that, then would it mean there would be no Johns in the world today? because he would have been able to sue anyone with that name (assuming copyright laws existed then).
