Behind the Name: Message: "My brother's name"

My brother's first name is Laverro. Our father, whom was named after his father all were given this name. The story was passed down that when the great-grandmother was still carrying our grandfather, that they saw the name on a tombstone and liked it.

Anyone out there have an idea of the origin of this name?
