What does my last name mean?!

i need to know what my last name is before thursday! its Kohl, and i think it Danish, cause my great-grandfather is from denmark, but i need to know!pleeze help!

German (also Köhl): from Middle High German kôl, köl ‘cabbage’, ‘cabbage head’ (ultimately from Latin caulis ‘stalk’), hence a metonymic occupational name for a grower or seller of cabbages.
from the Germanic personal name Kolo.

German: nickname for a blacksmith, or for a small and lively or irritable individual, from Middle High German vunke ‘spark’.
