Trying to find roots/origin of name

Can anyone give me a meaning for this name? or maybe it is a mis-spelling of another name.. But it was given to me by a Godmother who told my mother it was native american. But I haven't found anything that could substantiate that.
I would appreciate any feedback.

In case the name is of Germanic origin, the first element could be Hermen / Irmen / Irmin (s. IRMA). The second element I have no idea, maybe "hadu"? Any ideas?
