Poor excuse for education.
Hi!I am a girl living in Norway. I just have to say that I was terryfied when I saw the poor english on the site. The language in Norway is not norse. That's the most stupid thing I have ever read. It is called NORWEGIAN!!! Next time you guys write something, check it in a dictionary, don't pretend to know it all.Thank you-

If we're so wrong, why did everyone there in 1890 or so who could stuff a herring in a satchel abandon their thin-soiled farms and emigrate to Norse Dakota?Just ask Garrison Keillor (yeah I know, a Dane).

You must be confusedNowhere on this site is Norse equated with Norwegian, though many Norwegian names derive from Old Norse.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary:Norse n. and a.†1. a. A Norwegian. b. The Norwegian people or king. Obs. rare.
2. As pl. (The) Norwegians. Also, any native or inhabitant of ancient Scandinavia.
3. The Norwegian tongue. Old Norse, the language of Norway and its colonies down to the 14th cent.; also, the North Germanic language which was the immediate ancestor of the Scandinavian languages.I think an apology is in order.
