Anyone know whether the full father's name-including middle name–is required to qualify a son as a "junior?"

In other words:
if we change my son's middle name from his Father's...would he still be a junior...?? George Andrew Kicak vs. George William Kicak..? [Actually, he would be G.A. Kicak III ... totally pretentious for me-maybe G.W. Kicak - George William, in this election year!
I'd call him Will or Billy for now]
