Neos means "new" in Greek, but I believe it's a masculine word. Also, I'm unaware of how the -la got attached. Perhaps the -la's simply a meaningless prefix a la Kayla.

I would guess that the more proper feminine form of neos would be Nea, but I'm completely unsure of that.
