I couldn't find Mekhi, but Shayla can be a form of
1) Sheila (Celtic form of Cecilia)
2) Shea (Celtic name: daughter of Séaghdha [like a falcon]
3) Shahla (in Afghanistan [don't know which language] this means: beautiful dark eyes)
