Okay someone from my fansite, for a young actress...has just asked me what her name means and where it orginated from. I have no clue. All I know the name is Alakina and more of use for a female, and the actress Alakina Mann is from Spain. That is all I know, and I was wondering if you knew more about this name.

Hi Sofi,
May be Alakina is a form of Alake which is an African name (Nigeria, Yoruba) meaning "one to be petted and made much of"
