Oracle is from the Latin "oraculum" which in turn is derived from "orare" ("to speak, plead, pray") and the suffix "-culo" ("of material instrument").
Wanna call your kid a speaking/pleading/praying instrument?
I didnt thin so.
But if you insist, and its a girl, why not call her Carole (an anagram of Oracle)?
