I'm 50% Lumbee Indian (Tribe) out of North Carolina. Pembroke or Raleigh.. My Father said I was named after his girl cousin. I've never meet anyone with my name! Although once or twice I've ran into someone who said that they knew someone with it. Also, A couple I meet in a hospital in Michigan in the early 1990's were pregnant with a girl and asked if they could name her my name. Any ways, I've spent a long time trying to find the original origin of my name, with no such luck :( If any one has any information that would be sooo wonderful.
