I've been watching a lot of the show "America's Castles" on the network A&E. All the houses on that show have been named. I'm guessing that naming your home was a custom of the past, or probably something only the wealthy did. Some were named for the family that lived there, such as "The Charles Dawes House" or "Hearst Castle", others were named for the place it was built, like "Thistle Hill" or "Bayou Bend", and some were even named for characteristics the house had like "Marble Hall".

I thought it would be fun to see what other people would name either their current home/apartment, or their dream home, and why.
So wohat would you name your house?
