Sorry, but your mom DID make it up. It is not Russian for 'derives for joy', which doesn't even make sense. And if you know the meaning, why do you want it on here? Aeja is a made up name, and besides, at the message boards, we have absolutely NO power whatsoever to add names.

Click here for information on how to submit a name: http://www.behindthename.com/submit.php.However, you have to provide proof that Aeja does indeed mean "drives for joy" in Russian (though I agree with everyone else that I don't believe it means anything at all). And proof doesn't include "my mother said so, so it must be true", or baby name sites such as Babynames.com or one of its clones.
