The Cherokee dictionary that I looked at translated run aa 'at-li' and water as 'a-ma'. So, not too close to Satira, but that doesn't mean that the original version of your name couldn't mean "running water".
Check out this site to see some of the difficulties of translating Cherokee names into English. While it concentrates on surnames, the problems also relate to translating personal names.
