Does anyone else have the first name of ELECTA in their ancestors? All I know about her is that she was born Electa Nichols abt. 1795 in CT. She married BenjaminGilbertFORBES in 1815 in NY City.Again, just curious.Lola
Quite popular in US in 18th/19th century...And my housemate does Samba with an American girl by that name...Probably refers to the 'Elect'...those who will enter Heaven.
