Hi all, i am searching for the meaning of my first name. My dad told me once that it's a french name and it's for a male. I've yet to find where my name really comes from and what does it mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated and please email at Firstplt@hotmail.com

the name Renan come from a Mexican and it can be some times difficult to prions but people will get it after saying it a long time.

Although I have heard the name Renán before, I had no clue of whta it means until you asked.
I searched a little and I found that it is a French, male form of Renato. It is like Reneé but this form of it is either male or female. Maybe someone else has a full explanation for it.

I´m sorry to desapoint you, but the meaning, isn´t the same as renato, which is reborn, the last time i checked it i found the meaning "little seal" or "seal", i´m searching again because i think that definition is erroneuos...
