Can someone tell me how to pronounce the African name of Masego that supposedly means blessing? I can't seem to find it on other sites that include a pronunciation. Thanks.

Masego is pronounced with a 'h" sound at the end. Ma will be the same sound as in Mark.
Se sounds like the sound of sa in the word same.
go sounds like ho as it sounds in hollow!
Can you try this one----Mathlaga?
By the way Masego is a common name in Botswana especially amoung the people from Mochudi!

Hi. Just wanted to correct the pronunciation of the last syllable in Masego. The 'go' is not pronounced like 'ho' of hollow, but rather like the German 'ch' in chutzpah. Setswana is my mother tongue and I speak the language on the daily so you can take my word for it. I thank you
