My mother pronounced it "nan-ee-ah". But I understand that the more common pronunciation is "nan-eh-ah". I don't remember what Pavlos said was the pronunciation of the Greek form "Nanaia". If Pav is around, I'm sure he'll tell you. :)
I go by the nickname "Nan" most of the time, for expediency.
