Hi there,

When I was born I was imediately named Vinícius, cause my father says it was the name of a great roman leader. Is it true? What does my name mean ???

It is indeed a Roman name, but I couldn't find anything on a specific person/historical figure nor it's meaning.

I don't know, but I think it may come from vini, as in Caesar's famous speech: "Vini, vidi, vici." I came, I saw, I conquered (or something like that [my Latin is quite weak since I haven't studied it for 20 years].)
