I live in texas and I was wondering if I can find out the name ranking in a state not just all over america. If any knows how please let me know, thanks!

you need to click here
http://www.socialsecurity.gov/OACT/babynames/#state
choose the year you need data for (1990-2002) and pick whether you want male or female names.
Just for fun, the most popular names in Texas (starting with the most popular) in 2002 were:
Boys: Jose, Jacob, Joshua, Michael and Christopher
Girls: Emily, Maddison, Ashley, Alyssa and Alexis
