Well...Erm, I think your parents made it up.

*sigh* No, they didn't . . .Julia, didn't it occur to you to do a basic Google search before "spouting off"? Brabyn is definitely a surname, probably Cornish, we just haven't been able to establish the exact meaning.

well.....She did say she "THINKS" the parents made it up, that is not a FACT.
She should have checked first, I agree, or not posted at all.
BTW-saying she *thinks* is not a lie. There were no FACTS only one, small OPPINION.

"There were no FACTS only one, small OPPINION"This is the facts board, not the opinions board. We ask people to refrain from presenting their opinion unless it is supported by facts. Julia knows that.

I know(M)and I said she should have searched. But it is an oppinion of the origin not a FACT or a LIE.

Urania . . .Arguing about semantics is pointless. Julia knows that this board is for facts only, and made no attempt to check her facts before posting. On other occasions, Julia has presented as fact, not opinion, information that was completely wrong. This is not an isolated incident that Julia is being "picked on" for: this is an ongoing trend that Julia has repeated time and time again, despite numerous requests for her to stop. Please quit quibbling about words. This is not the place for it.

Remember: Julia makes up her own facts, without ever making sure of their accuracy.

I know . . .I've taken to thinking of them as "Julia Facts", a subset of the term "Lies".

When Brabyn is used as a surname, it comes from a Flemish word meaning 'Native of Flanders.' That's all I know of it, but it is an awesome name.A new world. A better world than has ever been seen. There you are not what you are born but what you have it in yourself to be. A kingdom of conscious, peace instead of war, love instead of hate. That is what lies at the end of Crusade.
