Gordana is a very common name in Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia.
In my language (Croatian, Serbian), it does not reflect the meaning of any word I know.
All I know is that name Gordana has nothing to do with Gord - in my language it means someone who is 'proud', or name Ana (Anna).
I've tried on Italian side, they do not have a female version of Giordano.
Letter G is pronnounced as G for Gloria.
