Does anyone know anything about the Swedish name Ville, from what I have read, it is a variant of William? I am not sure how to pronounce Ville! Any help would be so appreciated. Thank you!

It's only a nickname, not a real name. It's used as a nn for William or Vilhelm and it's pr. VIL-leh.
