Aoleon, when spelled Aeolian, is a type of scale, also known as the "natural minor" scale. I heard somewhere that it was named after an ancient Greek tribe (along with a few other scales). I'm not sure how true that is or not.

Aoleon itself looks to have been created for some franchise called "Aoleon the Martian Girl." I don't really know anything about that.
