Subject: Lobke?

This is the name of a girl in a class I teach (in Australia). It's pronounced LOB-kuh. Unfortunately I don't know the girl's surname but she's of European origin (pale skin, blonde hair).

It looks like a pet form, maybe German or Dutch? I'm wondering what the full name could be (or the original name if she's been given the pet form as her official name).

Thanks for any help!
