Rhuaridh
Does anyone know about the name Rhuaridh? I know it's Scottish and masculine. I'd like to know the etymology, but I'm really more focused on how to pronounce it. Any help is much appreciated!TIA.

In Scotland the pronunciation depends on which language you use. In Scottish Gaelic the more conventional spelling and pronunciation (click for sound clio) is here:- https://learngaelic.scot/dictionary/index.jsp?abairt=Ruaraidh&slang=both&wholeword=false

I should think it's a variant of Ruaridh, so has the same etymology and pronunciation.

pronunciationJust thought I'd add that here in Scotland it is often pronounced Rhu-ray as well as ror-ay as it says on this site. I know a couple of rhu-rays
