"El" is the definate article "the" in Spanish.The rest of your message I find a little confusing. I think you are indicating that "cennia" and "yessina" are the same thing?Avicennia is the Latin genus for mangrove trees, but that doesn't mean that "mangrove" is a translation of "cennia"---in fact Avicennia is a tribute name that honors the Persian philosopher, scientist, and doctor, Ibn Sina. Since I don't know any Persian, I can't even guess as to the meaning of his name.
