Ok, thank you for your responses. I have been wondering this for a while and I finally have my answer. It's just too bad, because I think a name pronounced "Seer-lay" would be very pretty.Samantha

My elementary French teacher used to always French'size names when she couldn't find a similar sounding French equivalent. :) That's most likely how she would've said it. Heck when she didn't know a French word quickly enough she would French'size it as well. :)

We did that in German class in high school and, reflecting on it, still in college. Our German was decent but our German+English "Germish" was much quicker. :-)
