RE Origin of the given name MIXENDA. MIXENDA DIX NOTT is my ancestor born in America, c. 1766, who married into the Stanley family. Stanley can easily be traced back to England. I am not yet an expert, and cannot trace her. I cannot find the name MIXENDA anywhere in any name search engine. Given name: MIXENDA DIX NOTT She comes up in yaho and goodle as a listed geneology entry, but I don't see any ancestors. Whatever clues you can give me would be appreciated.
