Amare seems to Latin meaning beloved, the best information on Assata I could find that it is African in orgin and means warlike/she who struggles. Both are feminine names. That was the best I could manage, hope it helps.

I was wondering where you find your info because i know someone named Moya and it sounds more than just MADE UP to me but can't find a meaning and i'd hate to keep asking and asking you. Also, amare isn't in any other language?

Amare is the Latin verb meaning "to love". Not a name; never used as a name by anyone who knew any Latin at all. Latin for beloved would be Amata, for lovable would be Amanda. As for Assata, it would be nice if you could narrow it down, just a little. Africa's big.
