Muira, Athe, Goraidh, Nara pronunciation&meaning
I just finished reading a Christian romance set in the Scottish Highlands. The names Muira(f), Athe(m), Goraidh(m), and Nara(f) are all charaters from the book. I was wondering how they would be pronounced and if anyone knows what they mean? Thanks!

Goraidh is in the database. I would guess it's pronounced something like GOR-ee (cf. Mallaidh), but I'm definitely no Scottish names expert, so don't take my word for it.Muira could be a fem. form of Muir, or else directly derived from Gaelic muir "sea".I have no clue about Nara and Athe, sorry.
